CIRT: Backflow Application Maintenance and Repair

This is a certification course that goes toward a Certified Irrigator Reapir Technician certificate. Students will learn the proper techniques to repair and service backflows. Hands-on includes: disassembling backflows, reassembling, and testing for proper function. A Business Case For Water Efficiency

This class will introduce participants to the SoCal Water$mart residential rebate program and how a contractor can use the program to sell water-conserving products and services. It will also include an overview of the rebate reservation process. The second half of the class will be spent discussing landscape customer education as it relates to water conservation and how this translates into improvements for contractors' business opportunities. Lastly, the class will feature an interactive Jeopardy game to review the consepts discussed in the class.
